Proceeds will benefit victims of one of the lake’s most devastating fires, which destroyed more than 240 homes during its eight-day burn.

“The effects of the Angora Fire were felt by everyone here at Lake Tahoe and throughout our region and we want to do our part to help the victims of this horrific and devastating disaster,” said Catherine Atack, executive director of the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival.

The concert was initiated by Lake Tahoe-based pianist and musician Tim Callicrate, who along with many of the area’s leading musicians will present a variety of different musical genres, a silent auction, food and wine service from Shakespeare’s Kitchen and merchandise sales.

Gates open at 6:30 p.m. For tickets and additional information log on to www.LakeTahoeShakespeare.com or call 800-74-SHOWS (800-747-4697).
