BLUEGO SCHEDULES OPEN HOUSE EVENTS FOR RIDER INPUT

Lake Tahoe, Stateline, NV –- The South Tahoe Area Transit Authority, which operates BlueGO, has scheduled two open house events on Thursday, August 6, to inform riders of existing services and receive their input on potential improvements.

The open house events will occur at the following times and locations:

1 p.m. to 3 p.m., South “Y” Transit Center ( US Hwy 50/State Route 89 junction).
4 p.m. to 6 p.m., Stateline Transit Center (US Hwy 50, at Heavenly Gondola/Explore Tahoe center).

The information provided and input received will be integrated into a short range transit plan being developed for BlueGO by LSC Transportation Consultants. Participants will learn about the existing transit services and potential service alternatives to improve the efficiency of the system. There will also be an opportunity for participants to comment on the strengths and weaknesses of the system and where improvements could be made.
