If you know of anyone displaced by the Angora fire who is in need of long-term housing, please let them know that a list exists to assist in their home search. This database was created as a non-partisan effort by the South Tahoe Association of Realtors to provide a rental housing resource. We targeted second homeowners when creating this list, with the intention to NOT promote the businesses of property management or rental property companies. This list is posted at the locals assistance center, Lake Tahoe Community College; on the Lake Tahoe South Shore Chamber website at: www.tahoechamber.org. or by calling the South Tahoe Association of Realtors at: 541-7007 or visiting their website at: www.staor.org. The initial list was posted on Friday, we expect an updated list late today. Postings should soon appear on the El Dorado County and City of South Lake Tahoe’s websites.
